The Omnium Wheelbase Slider Kit Male is a replacement for the part of slider that connects the sled of the Omnium Trainer with the adaptable fork mount.
If the original becomes worn or damaged, it will slot in to allow the trainer to continue to adjust to fit different sized bikes, fixing solidly in place at the appropriate length. When installing or replacing this part, always use a 3mm Allen key and an 8mm wrench.
