The shape of the sole tread has been specifically designed for mountain biking. It allows you to get a good grip, facilitates mud dispersion and offers stability. The central insert with the Sidi logo works as a non-slip surface, a function that is especially useful to less experienced riders.
The toe area is more subject to wear than the rest of the sole, especially when walking, and can be replaced by screws. It offers the possibility to mount crampons to improve the shoes' traction over particularly muddy ground. RS17 strikes the perfect balance between stiffness for pedalling and flexion for walking.
