Like a standard cycling helmet, it’s composed of a hard-shell plastic outer layer that disperses impact over a large area, while allowing heat and moisture to escape through spaced vent holes, and a soft EVA foam inner layer, which absorbs and lessens that impact.
The two layers, working together as part of a highly flexible, comfortable and breathable pad, will reinforce your elbow joint while allowing it to move freely, so that you’ll barely notice you’re wearing a guard.
A stretchy sleeve of material extends from one side of the pad to the other, acting as a cradle for your inner arm and helping to hold the pad in place. You can also cinch the pad snugly round your forearm using two adjustable straps.
